Eberspächer Notes

On my boat I have an Eberspächer D1LC (12V) from 1996 which never really worked correctly. After taking it apart a couple of times, fixing some loose contacts, trying to understand how it works electrically, etc, I decided to give him a last chance and bought new spares, the last identified dead component was the flame sensor (an expensive PT1000). When I was troubleshooting the heater last winter, I could not find any reliable, consolidated documentation about my Operating Unit, so I decided to make my own and share it. The PCB reads “EB147”, I don’t know the official name of this box.

Hi, just wanted to say thank you for posting this, It made it easy to bench test a unit I didn’t know much about. Not having to dig much for a diagram or through a bunch of forums made my life easier! My unit did not have the red/grey temp set wire but the rest were all spot on.
